Welcome aboard the Miss Mary! I'm a Charleston native whose Irish and Scottish family has been building ships and navigating these waters since the 1800s. I captain this authentic 26' Duffy Lobsterman Launch — a classic Maine lobster boat with a deep dark blue hull and red and white canvas top for sun protection. It is pure Americana and perfect for the 250th celebration!
We leave from our private slip at Ashley Marina and cruise past the historic downtown Battery. Along the way we discuss Charleston Harbor's rich history with all the holy city's church steeples in the background. We will view the Yorktown aircraft carrier and venture past four Civil War forts.
Note: There is no parking at the Marina — rideshare or paid parking at the hotel next door for $10 is the only option.

A classic Maine lobster boat reimagined for the ultimate harbor experience. The Miss Mary features a deep dark blue hull, red and white canvas top for sun protection, and all the comforts needed for an unforgettable day on Charleston Harbor. Pure Americana.
Every voyage follows strict USCG safety protocols. Captain Gene is a retired paramedic of 20 years, a retired fireman, and a Marine training officer for the fire department.
